Awards

Back in 1998 our founders participated in the Indiana State Health Department's project to create a CNA training manual (which is still in use) . They were qualified to do this based on their long experience in training CNAs as employees of a major healthcare provider having multiple facilities in the Michiana area. In recognition of their efforts Professional Resources issued to each of them a Certificate of Appreciation for their help.

"When I got on the floor, everything came back to me about nursing and how much I love doing this kind of work, and all the instructors had faith in me when I didn't have faith in myself. The instructors always say "never say you can't, because I know you can, always believe in yourself, you can do it!"

"My best clinical experience was when I had a resident family member come up to me and thank me for the job that I did on her. Made me feel a sense of accomplishment."

"I had the most wonderful time getting to know all the different residents, they made me laugh, most of them have such a personality. The instructors helped out so much when I first started working with the residents, showing me how to help, dress and bathe each one of my new friends."

"Best clinical experience was getting to know the residents and working and learning from the instructors. And learning a lot more about life while learning to care for someone in the way they should and deserve to be cared or."

"My best experience was learning new ways for giving care to patients. I enjoyed working as a team with the instructors and students. This course also helped me learn the value of being a nurse, who cares for residents."

"Meeting all the residents and helping them and seeing them smile. Knowing that you are making a difference. Also by having great teachers it has really helped. I will miss many of the residents and teachers."

(from the student Best&Worst Of The Course feedback sheet)

"There was great teamwork between the students and instructors. Everyone worked together as a team which made the learning experience interesting and quick. The instructors were great because they made sure we all had faith in ourselves and that we could be great CNA's."

"My best experience in this training class was everything. Learning new things and meeting so many wonderful people who actually appreciate you for what you are doing. For them and 2 wonderful teachers who allow you to learn and grow at your own pace and it's not many people who would take time out to teach complete strangers how to be the best CNA's that they can be. This entire experience is a blessing and I would not trade it for anything."
